BROKEN BAG DETECTION WITH PROVEN PERFORMANCE

CPM 700 series monitors are advanced detection devices that measure changes in particulate concentration. Using a unique emissions detection technique, CPM 700 Series instruments maintain calibration because they are less affected by dirty or misaligned optics, or a faulty light source often found in other type detectors. BHA offers two models in this product series: the standard CPnd the more advanced CPMO 750.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

Emission Detection-Self-compensating,No drift, Low maintenance

CPM technology measures particle flow using a beam of visible light through which the particles travel.

a transmitter and receiver are aligned and use an LED light source. The movement of particles through this beam causes a rapid variation in the received light intensity. This variation, called scintillation, represents emissions and is expressed as a percentage of the average light received.

Span/ Zero Check with Automatic Check Cycle - This Feature allows the user to confirm that the CPM has the full Range of operating capability.

3 STAGE ALARMSystem: High Emission Alaram AND MAINTENANCE ALARAM- PROVIDE INSTANT NOTIFICATION OF HIGH EMISSIONS OR UNFAVORABLE CONDITI0NS

A warning alarm triggers when emissions are above normal, but not above the compliance level. These alarms are fully adjustable and alert you to maintenance needs as well as excessive emissions. If the lens becomes covered with an excessive amount of dust, the alarm will sound before the control is disabled.

AMBIENT LisHT DETECTION - AUT0bIATICALLY DETECTS AND OFFSETS FOR AMBIENT LIGHT - I/ ambient light is pzescnt, the CPM automatically detects and compensates for it to ensure accurate readings at all times.

ADJUSTABLE Damping - SMOOTHS THE RESPONSE TO RAPID FLUCTUATIONS IN EMISSIONS

Damping is an adjustable setting that regulates the control response to rapid fluctuations in emissions. In effect, it slows the meter movement enough to indicate a more accurate, average reading.

ADJUSTABLE SPAN - ADAPTS CONTROL TO PARTICULATE PROCESS CHARACTERISTICS

The Span feature is used to fine—tune the control's sensitivity to emissions. Once the High/ Low Range switch position has been determined, the Span should be adjusted within that range. The combination of these two features offers increased resolution and a greater adjustment range.

LED BAR GRAPH DISPLAY - The CPM 700 and 750 models both incorporate an LED display for viewing readings and making adjustments. The meter indicates 0-100% in 5% increments and is used to make precise operational settings.

ADDITIONAL FEATURE ON THE CPM 750 MODEL

ANALOG OUTPUT - ALLOWS THE CONNECTION OF EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT

The CPM 750 model is equipped with a plug-in 4-20 mA analog output module. This allows the connection to a strip chart recorder, DCS system, or BHA’s InPoint Data Acquisition Software System.
